Los Angeles NFL Entertainment District
Completed in 1962, Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium is the third oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball, and one of the most unique, with views of downtown Los Angeles to the south and the San Gabriel Mountains to the north. The renovated landscape for the 260-acre site furthers the client’s goal to strengthen their fans’ experience and memory of the stadium. Children’s play areas and giant Dodger bobble heads and uniform numbers bring whimsy and create new ways for fans to interact with and remember the stadium. New pedestrian terraces separated by trees and planted slopes improve wayfinding, safety, and security throughout the site.
